Stonehouse Town is one of the longest serving teams in Gloucestershire area.
In the glory days of the 60's and 70's, Stonehouse was largest team in the area, regularly drawing crowds of over 2000 to their Western League, Wiltshire Premier League, County League and FA Cup games.
The Club is still based at "The Magpies" stadium in Oldends Lane, and players and supporters still socialise at the Magpies' Sports and Social Club.
The club runs 4 teams:
1st Team Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Divison 1,
2nd Team Stroud & District League Div 1,
3rd Team Stroud & District League Div 5,
4th Team Stroud & District League Div 7
The club has been run successfully for many years, with many of you remembering Club Secretary, Mike Smith, who still does an excellent job in running all 4 sides, including washing all 4 sets of kit! 'Spike' is very well respected within the local football community.
One of Stonehouse's strengths is its excellent youth system, which has seen a large number of players come into the club and also, now, representing the 1st team regularly - the main influence in this is Ian Neville, who have been with the youngsters for years, developing a good standard that the 1st team enhances with each game.
Stonehouse Town FC would like to say a massive 'thank you' to all of our club sponsors who help the club provide football to Stonehouse and its neigbouring communities year after year.
If you would like to discuss advertising, sponsorship, or have any services which you or your company can offer to Stonehouse Town FC, please feel free to email Ian at email@example.com
